Retromadrid, pros y contras
Este fin de semana me he presentado en Madrid con unos amigos para asistir a la reunión anual de amantes de la retroinformática que se realiza en Madrid, llevaba un par de años queriendo ir ya que había oido grandes cosas de ella, quizás por eso esperaba algo más y me he vuelto, en cierto sentido, decepcionado.
Nosotros nos presentamos en el recinto ferial "El Greco" tras buscarlo en google maps en el Iphone de JR gracias a algún altruista vecino de Batán que a estas alturas tiene su red wireless abierta de par en par, llegamos sobre las 10 de la mañana y ya a esas horas estaba el lugar a reventar de gente de todas clases incluso de algunas que nos sorprendieron, chicas y ademas muy guapas, esto fue el primer pro despues de habernos resignado a pasar un Sábado en una fiesta de salchichas.
Es el QL mas grande que nunca me he metido en el bolsillo
Si, había gente, mucha, según la organización hubo sobre las 1100 personas, les creo, de hecho puede ser que estuviesen todas de un principio pues el el ambiente era agobiante, muy recargado y al poco tiempo el calor se hizo insoportable para poder estar mirando los stands consistentemente. De todas maneras esas son minucias que se soportan estoicamente si de verdad has ido a ver que "novedades" hay en sistemas antiguos, aquí fue donde me lleve la auténtica "decepción", aparte de la gente de Karoshi que presentó varios juegos con Azpiri firmando las caratulas de "La corona encantada", el stand de marcianitos y la colección de máquinas del ala norte no había mucho más que ver.

Del resto de puestos quizás merecen mención el QL en el que se cargó un clon del Joust y la oportunidad de conseguir copias físicas de algunos juegos geniales que se han ido creando los últimos años para ordenadores con casi un cuarto de siglo a sus espaldas aunque había que resignarse a las cintas ya que no había nada en disco. Echamos mucho en falta cosas como un stand con algun Amstrad/Spectrum/Msx haciendo funcionar alguna demo, cualquier máquina de Commodore o Atari, grandes (y humildes) frases como: "yo solo soy el creador del emulador XXXX" en la conferencia de Gominolas y un torneo de Street Fighter a mi entender totalmente imprescindible en un evento así, al menos pude enseñarles a jugar a SFIV a unos chavales en la FNAC.

Sin lugar a dudas, los que más disfruté de toda la fería fue como dicen el blog Xdistancia la rubia gótica y sobre todo el encontrarme con una leyenda con nombre propio en la escena de webs españolas de temática humorística y de exaltación de casi todo lo que haya salido de la decada de los 80, José Viruete en el breve periodo que pasó con nosotros demostró ser una persona afable y accesible además de regalarme y dedicarme un disco de su grupo musical "CALIPO A" que recomiendo a todo el mundo ya que si bien no son los nuevos Beatles, es un disco muy disfrutable con versiones de la BSO de Flashdance y homenajes a lo mejor de Sonic o incluso a Willow, mención MUY PERO QUE MUY ESPECIAL merece la maquetación del disco creada por Miguel Angel Serralvo con gran gusto y estilo en la que solo hecho de menos la licencia sobre la que se puede distribuir el disco ya que, el último disco que compré (pagando los correspondientes 20 Eurazos) tiene una maquetación de MIERDA que no le llega a esta ni a la suela de los zapatos así que ya saben los culos irritados, poneos las pilas, escuchad, mirad y disfrutad cosas como estas y RECICLAOS.

Beyker (16.3.09 22:02) Hombre, novedades habia, aunque no demasiadas.El problema es que la organizacion ha discriminado un poco al spectrum este año, y sabemos que ultimamente es este sistema el que mas esta sacando soft nuevo. En la sala pequeña que habia a la entrada habia alguna que otra novedad. CEZGS tenia el I Need Speed para MSX (en cartucho) y Spectrum ,asi como el remake del Capitan Sevilla para PC y copias en cinta de los mas de 25 juegos que han sacado al mercado. Topo siglo XXI traia el viaje al centro de la tierra version extendida en formato fisico de diskette 3". Octocom el Insert Coins 2 para spectrum con banda sonora incluida. El problema es que los grupos con novedades los marginaron al cuartucho ese ,y en la sala grande metieron mucho stand que era solo de exposicion de maquinas.Una pena. |
